Do I need to bring a dance partner?

Do I need any dance experience to start?

Accepted Answer

No dance experience? No problem! Start with our beginner classes or boot camps. Our courses are progressive, so you'll learn step by step.

Question 3

What should I wear for the classes?

You don’t need any specific outfit for the classes, but we recommend clothes that allow you to move your body and feel comfortable. 
For our dances we recommend you to have shoes with soft sole.
Please note that you can’t wear outdoor shoes.  You can dance either with your socks or indoor shoes that don’t leave marks.

Can I dance only with my own partner?

Accepted Answer

You can dance only with your own partner, but your dancing will improve faster while dancing with different people in the class.

How can I pay for my classes?

Accepted Answer

You can pay online, at the school by card or cash, or request an invoice. We accept Edenred, Epassi, Smartum, and MobilePay (S-Dance Helsinki #22099). All these payments can be done online through your mobile app.

What to do if I can't attend classes every week?

No worries, we offer several flexible options to suit your schedule:

It's ok to skip some classes, you'll have the entire season to use your remaining sessions.
Keep in mind, though, that our courses are progressive. If you miss several classes or feel you need extra time to master the material, consider booking a private lesson (https://www.sdances.com/private-lessons)(or a few) to catch up on what you missed or to focus on challenging topics.

Can I miss some classes if I have a class card?

Yes! With a 4x, 8x, or 11x card, you can skip some classes and use your remaining sessions anytime during the season. But remember, our courses are progressive, so regular attendance is best for your learning.

How long is my class card valid?

Class cards are valid for the current season. Be sure to use them within this time.

Do I get a physical card?

Accepted Answer

No, all our cards are virtual. You won't receive a physical card.

Do I need to inform you if I’m missing a class?

While it's not required, it's always nice to let us know if you're going to miss a class.
