Social Dance Classes in Helsinki — What's On This Autumn

Mondays — Kizomba & Semba

18:00–19:30 — Open level classes

Kizomba is one of those dances that looks effortless and feels even better. It's smooth, grounded, and built entirely on connection — between you, your partner, and the music. Semba is its lively, joyful older sibling: more energy, more expression.

Wednesdays — Urbankiz

18:00–20:00 Open level classes + guided practice 20:00–21:00

Urbankiz is a dynamic, rhythmically alive, and incredibly versatile partner dance, developed from Kizomba, influenced by many different dances like Tango, Salsa, hip-hop, African dances and more, creating a style that is expressive, social, and genuinely fun to dance.

The Wednesday evening includes two hours of class followed by a full hour of guided practice — a great way to explore what you've just learned with different partners in a relaxed setting.

If Urbankiz is new to you, you're in the right place. Helsinki has only a few spots where you can learn it properly, and this is one of them.
