Urbankiz for Beginners in Helsinki - Start Your Urbankiz Journey

Updated: 1 day ago

What is Urbankiz?

Urbankiz is truly one of a kind — and once you catch the bug, there's no going back.

What makes it special is its expressive freedom and the incredible variety of ways to dance it. Unlike many partner dances, it's not about fixed steps or choreography — even though we do learn figures and variations. At its heart it's about connection, rhythm, groove and real-time communication between partners, making every dance completely unique.

No two dances are ever the same. That's what makes it so addictive.

Why Urbankiz?

Dynamic and expressive with sharp accents, smooth steps and unexpected pauses all flowing effortlessly with the music. It looks complex. But there's a very simple logic behind it all, and we'll guide and support you on every step of the way. It might just be the best dance you'll ever learn.
