What Is this Kizomba Workshop about?
On May 18th, S-Dance is hosting a very special Kizomba workshop - one where leaders become followers, and followers step into the lead. Not to confuse you, not to make it harder, but to make you better. More aware. More connected. More complete as a dancer.
Why Switch Roles?
Kizomba is a conversation. Like any conversation, it works best when both sides truly understand each other. Switching roles - even just once - is one of the most powerful things you can do for your dancing.
Leaders will discover the sensitivity and responsiveness that following demands. Followers will gain a real insight into decision-making, structure, and intention. And both will walk away with something that no amount of drilling in your usual role can give you: empathy on the dance floor.
What to Expect
This is not a perfection workshop. There will be no pressure to get it right immediately - because that's not the point.
The point is awareness. Curiosity. Growth.
You'll be guided through the experience step by step, in a warm and supportive environment where everyone is in the same boat - a little outside their comfort zone, and having a great time because of it.
Open to all levels. Suitable for total beginners. No partner required.
If you've never danced Kizomba before, this is actually a beautiful way to start - with no habits to unlearn and no fixed idea of who you are on the dance floor yet.
